An official selection tournament recognized by National Sports Council (NSC), Prime Minister Cup, rewards the players with national call-ups or contract with the departmental teams or at very least help they get franchise contracts. Nepalaya had roped in Sydney-based Excelsia College as the title sponsor for the cricket tournament slated for May 27 to June 12, 2018 in Kathmandu.

Nepalaya International organized the Expert College Premier League in nine cities of the country from February 13 to March 13 in 2018. The T20 tournament was played under league-cum-knockout format in Kathmandu, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Pokhara, Dang, Nepalgunj, Itahari, Dhangadhi and Birtamod, Around 16 to 20 teams are expected to compete in all nine cities.

Spotting players like Dipendra Singh Airee in college leagues to Bhim Sarki in PM Cup, Nepalaya International has invariably helped national cricket team with bankable and dependable players.

Individual performances like a century and a hat-trick in same match during a match in PM Cup last year helped a relatively unknown entity Hari Bahadur Chauhan to become nationwide sensation overnight. He further went on to get lucrative deals in franchise leagues and bag a contract with Tribhuvan Army Club. Same can said for Bipin Khatri and similar other players who rose to prominence after a good performance in the PM Cup. Thanks to its format which allows players to get necessary playtime.

Events like Corporate and Marwadi premier leagues to keep the working class citizens happy with alternative refreshment every now and then.
