Nepalaya and Nepal’s Historic Debut in ICC Cricket

In February 2020, Nepalaya International helped re-instated Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) consolidate TU Cricket Ground as a ludicrous International Cricket Council (ICC) sanctioned venue for international cricket whilst hosting ICC Men’s CWC League 2 Series.

In a historic turn of event, Nepal hosted its first ever home One-Day-Internationals (ODIs) at Kirtipur. In race against time, Nepalaya upped its game for the successful culmination of the cricket matches at TU cricket ground which was deemed fit to host ODIs and T20Is after an ICC inspection.

CAN entrusted Nepalaya International with ground management, ticketing, marketing, sponsorships and spectators experience whilst Nepal’s national cricket team locked horns with United States and Oman entertaining the mass number of fans flocking the cricket ground welcoming the return of international ICC cricket in Nepal. Nepal made its debut in the event whereas Nepalaya bagged the critical acclaim by hosting back to back world level events in Nepal soil. Nepalaya followed up after the successful completion of 13th South Asian Games in the same venue.
